Connie Tahinos
Connie Tahinos became a member of the Hanson & Ryan family back in March of 2011. She came from a much different background, working in the cosmetology field for over 6 years before entering the insurance world. After she graduated from Passaic Valley High School of Little Falls, NJ in 2002, Connie attended the Capri Institute in Clifton, NJ where she studied to become an Esthetician. After graduating, she received her Skin Care Specialist license with the NJ State Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling. She wanted to further expand her knowledge in the cosmetology field, which led her to studying makeup application at New York City’s Empire Beauty School. She graduated in 2006 and was certified in Basic Makeup Skills, Glamour/Fashion and Prosthetic Application of Makeup. After graduating, Connie focused on being a freelance makeup artist, with her specialties being bridal and special occasion makeup. During her freelance gig (which she currently still does from time to time), she worked for a beauty supply store/salon in Totowa, NJ as their makeup artist and skin care specialist for over 3 years.
Unfortunately, the store closed down and while Connie still did her freelance makeup artistry, she was approached by Hanson & Ryan, Inc. to see if she could be a temporary receptionist for a few weeks. A few weeks led to over a decade later. Shortly after becoming an official member of the Hanson & Ryan team, Connie became an Assistant for the Personal Lines Team and eventually earned her NJ State license in Property and Casualty. In 2013 she transitioned into her current role as an Account Executive in the Personal Lines Department. She loves meeting new people, helping others with their insurance needs and enjoys the relationships she has built with her clients. Along with being an Account Executive, Connie is also the mastermind behind the famous Hanson & Ryan yearly calendar.
Connie grew up in Woodland Park, NJ and now resides in Wayne, NJ with her husband Dino and children Sophia & Harry. Connie enjoys spending all of her free time with her family and friends. Connie is a big fan of the theater, movies, music and pop culture, especially Star Wars or anything Sci-Fi/Comic related.
Fun Fact: Connie was once asked out on a date by the late, great Burt Reynolds. She kindly declined.
