Michael Murphy

Mike is a graduate of William Paterson University with a BA degree. After college, he quickly entered the insurance field and joined the Hanson & Ryan team. Upon joining, he successfully completed the USLI 50/50 program. Over the years Mike has laid the groundwork for his career by placing his clients with the best coverage for the risks they face while building and maintaining lasting relationships.

Mike is an elected Councilman in The Township of Little Falls and serves on the finance committee. He was also a Commissioner of the Little Falls Board of Education, elected in 2017 & 2020. Mike has been a member of the Little Falls Fire Department since 2011 and serves as the Vice President of his firehouse. He is also a member of the North Jersey Chamber of Commerce and a Union Member of BAC Local 4 (International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers).

Mike uses his real work experience & background to help him become a well-versed risk manager for all his clients. He works both in the private & public sectors with a focus on manufacturing, real estate, professional liability, municipalities, and schools. Mike has built a network of resources for all his clientele. He takes pride in the clients he represents by giving them true peace of mind. The most important aspect of Mike’s growth is that he has never lost sight of his fundamental goal; always putting his clients first.
