Blue Jean Friday's
One of our favorite charitable fund raising events is “Blue Jean Fridays”, which allows each individual the forgiveness to wear nice blue jeans to work on Fridays for a donation of $10 each month.
Unfortunately one of our insured's, Donna Sisti, had to go in for major back and neck surgery. The surgery ended up triggering A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig's disease). For those of you who do not know, ALS is a rare disease that causes nerve cells to break down, which reduces functionality of the muscles. Eventually the disease attacks the respiratory muscles resulting in having to be put on a perminent ventilator. Donna's ALS has already progressed to the point where she is no longer capable of walking, feeding and bathing herself, or speaking clearly. We keep Donna and her family in our thoughts. Recently we were made aware of a couple who experienced a hard loss. On Friday, November 4th, two of 381 Main Bar & Grill's employees, Jessica & John, lost their home and all of their belongings including a car, to a fire that engulfed 3 homes in Caldwell. They were only left with the clothes on their backs... that's it! Even worse they did not have insurance on this home they rented. This year we had the pleasure of donating our "Blue Jean Friday" fund to them. Jess & John we sincerely apology for your loss and wish you nothing but the best going further! To make donation to John & Jess see their GoFundMe page https://www.gofundme.com/john-and-jesss-fire-fund.
